Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Spacemap (“the app”) is an iPhone app developed and provided by RUI. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
In short
- The developer doesn’t collect any data about you.
- There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no third-party SDK. The developer runs no servers for the app.
- Your photos and videos are never sent to the developer.
Data collected
None. The app doesn’t send analytics or crash reports, and it doesn’t send any information to the developer over the network. This matches the “Data Not Collected” label on the App Store.
Photo library
Photo library access is used on the device only, to:
- read the size of each item and show it by category and by year (originals stored in iCloud aren’t downloaded for this)
- save smaller converted videos and photos, and still photos made from Live Photos, to your library
- move the original to Recently Deleted in Photos after the new file has been checked (it can be recovered for 30 days)
- delete screen recordings you select
Limited Access is supported. In that case the app only handles the items you selected.
Originals stored in iCloud
When you choose to convert an item whose original is only in iCloud, the system’s Photos framework downloads it from Apple’s iCloud. This is Apple’s service and is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. The app doesn’t receive your photos or videos any other way.
Notifications
If you turn on an event reminder, a local notification is scheduled on the device. Its content isn’t sent anywhere.
Stored on your device
App settings and the history of replacements are stored only on the device and are deleted with the app. The app also reads the device’s free storage to show how much space is left.
Sharing with third parties
None.
